Zagreb

Took an overnight bus from Dubrovnik, to Zagreb, and the journey took 11.5 hours. Glad to have saved on a night of accomodation. Arrived in Zagreb at 5:30am. I am now couching at the common lounge in my hostel - waiting for check-in and taking shelter from the cold. It's minus 7 degrees right now, and it's snowing ♥

Despite the excitement, I couldn't spend more than 15 minutes under the snow because it was really cold. Feeling a little lethargic, with some stommick discomfort. The warmest temperature for today would be -2 degrees, and the coldest would be -11 degrees (says BBC).

Croatia is gorgeous, and this trip feels like an antipasti - it was only a taste of this beautiful country. I spent much time on transport, but I wouldnt sleep while on a bus (like how I usually would). Bus journeys were perfectly scenic and I never to miss out on anything.

My initial intention to spend a day or two in Sarajevo didn't materialise because of time constraints. There's a very, very strong calling to go to Sarjevo, and I'm definitely gonna try to include it in my next itinerary if possible.

I'm will be taking a flight back to London tomorrow night, and then a connecting flight from London to Glasgow the next morning. Got to spend another (last) night in the airport. And its time to get back to being a student. I have been assigned to my topic of choice for my dissertation, and my clinical placement of choice (I think) to work with people with alcohol/substance abuse, or homeless persons. A huge looking forward.
