It has been almost 2 weeks since I left ¨home¨(Glasgow). I´m at St Christopher´s Inn, Barcelona, using the computer while waiting for my phone & camera to be charged. Everyone I met raved about St Christopher´s, but I can´t see what they see. Almost everyone I met told me that they loved Barcelona, and that Barcelona is their favourite or one of their favourite cities in the world. Again, I don´t see what they see, despite trying very hard to fall in love with the city.
I wouldn´t say that the journey was ¨rough¨, but it wasn´t too smooth either. There were several times that I just wanted to cry, of fear and of relief. I´ve met people who were full of rubbish, but also met the most fantastic people.
Today is my last day in Spain, and I will be taking a 6am flight to Rome tomorrow. No idea what to expect but. It's gonna be a new adventure.
